Millet Kasha

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup millet
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk (optional, for creamier version)
  • Pinch of salt

Optional (sweet)

  • 1–2 tsp honey or sugar
  • Butter

Instructions:

  1. Rinse millet
    (important → removes bitterness)

  2. Cook
    Add millet + water + salt
    Bring to boil → reduce heat → cover
    Cook ~15 min until soft

  3. Finish

Add milk → cook 5 more min (optional)

Stir in butter

  1. Serve

Sweet: honey + milk

Savory: just butter + salt
